On The Porch With Front Porch Music
Yeehaw's, Cowboy Boots and Here I Am, with Mallory Johnson
This week we have Canadian country artist Mallory Johnson joining us On The Porch with Front Porch Music.
Mallory has had a big year so far. She was one of the top 8 finalists for Sirius XMs Top Of The Country contest, and just recently has been seeing big success with her single "Marriage" climbing the charts.
RELATED: Mallory was one of our Women in Canadian Country Spotlights ...
Mallory Johnson comes from a very musical family, growing up around celtic and country music, and touring through North America and Scotland with her family’s celtic band. She was just 11 years old when she recalls recording albums, lugging gear, and traveling in a van to play.
She took lessons and partook in musical theater, and while she never had the voice for it, theater taught her a lot about performing.
Now living in Nashville, we had the chance to catch up and talk about her new single, her fake wedding, and where her musical talent comes from.
Have a listen to our chat with Mallory Johnson.
